Birth & Death Certificates

It is the responsibility of the Carteret County Health Department to ensure that all births and deaths occurring in the county are processed in an accurate and timely manner. Each certificate is examined to determine if it has been completed in accordance with the provisions and rules set forth by the state. Each certificate is dated and signed by the local registrar on the date it is received.
