  1. CANCELLED - Veterans Day Parade Cancellation Notice

    November 10, 2018, All Day

Veterans Day Parade Cancellation Notice The Carteret County Veterans Council regretfully has had to cancel our Carteret County Veterans Day Parade that was to be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018. This is the first time in 24 years that we have had to cancel our parade and it was not an easy decision; however, with many of our volunteers and participants having suffered major damage during Hurricane Florence, we had no other choice. To the many volunteers, participants, supporters, Carteret County Commissioners, Carteret County Manager, Morehead City and Carteret County citizens, and those from all over the state, thank you so very much for always supporting our efforts and for your understanding. We will line the streets again and bring the largest Veterans Day Parade in North Carolina back next year bigger and better on November 9, 2019. We are standing strong. We are Carteret strong! Please remember our Veterans on Veterans Day. Hank Gotard Veterans Services Director
