    November 27, 2018, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Crystal Coast Civic Center

The Carteret County Health Department will be hosting a Community Resource fair on Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Florence we have noticed an increased need for information about resources in the county. The overarching theme for this resource event is the "Social Determinants of Health." Where we live, learn, grow, work, play, and pray have a BIG impact on overall health. 1. Carteret Community Resource Fair

    November 27, 2018, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Crystal Coast Civic Center

The Carteret County Health Department will be hosting a Community Resource Fair on Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 from 10:00am – 4:00pm. Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Florence we have noticed an increase need of information about resources in the county. Carteret County has many resources and we want to establish a resource fair that will allow you to share information about your organization! We decided to use the theme, “Social Determinants of Health”, the conditions in which we are born, we grow and age, and in which we live and work. Social Determinants of Health impact our health and wellbeing through childhood experiences, housing, education, social support, family income, employment, communities, and access to health services.
