CARTERET COUNTY, NC (June 5, 2024) – Candidate filing for the Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor (one seat) will begin at noon on Monday, June 10, and end at noon Friday, July 5. Filings will be accepted at the Carteret County Board of Elections, located at 1702 Live Oak St., Suite 200, in Beaufort.
Candidates for the Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor position must be at least 21 years old and a registered voter within Carteret County. A $5 filing fee is required, payable in cash or personal check.
This seat is nonpartisan, meaning no primary election is required. The election will be held during the Nov. 5 general election.
