CARTERET COUNTY, NC (January 18, 2024) – Carteret County community members are invited to roll up a sleeve and help save lives. Carteret County Parks and Recreation will host a blood drive with the American Red Cross on Friday, Jan. 26. Donors are urgently needed, as blood supplies have reached historic lows, marking the lowest donor turnout in two decades.

To make an appointment to donate, individuals may visit https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/drive-results?order=DATE&range=10&zipSponsor=28570, scroll down to the blood drive for Jan. 26 at the Fort Benjamin Park Recreation Center, then click “SEE TIMES.” There are 14 appointment times available.
