CARTERET COUNTY, N.C. (July 23, 2025) – The T-Dock and connecting ramp at the West Beaufort Water Access site, 138 Town Creek Drive in Beaufort, are temporarily closed after a routine inspection identified safety issues.
The closure applies only to the T-Dock and its connected ramp. The site’s primary boat ramps and launch area remain open and fully operational.
County staff are working on repairs and expect to reopen the dock area once it is ready for public use.
