CARTERET COUNTY, NC – The North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association (NCSA) annual business conference
will be held in Atlantic Beach beginning July 24. Sheriffs and law enforcement personnel from across the
state will meet to talk about key issues facing law enforcement and share ideas about how to better serve
their communities.
Sheriffs in attendance plan to discuss key issues at this meeting and focus on a range of topics that include
crisis communication, civil commitments and transportation, and NCSA resources.
Prior to the start of the meeting, media representatives will have an opportunity to interview Carteret County
Sheriff and former NCSA President Asa Buck, New Hanover County Sheriff and President of the NCSA Ed
McMahon and other state officials.
