Notice is hereby given that the Carteret County Beach Commission will conduct a public hearing during its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Emerald Isle Board of Commissioners meeting room, located at 7500 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, NC.
The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comment on a proposed Beach Management Plan. This plan is being considered for submittal to the North Carolina Division of Coastal Management for their review and subsequent evaluation by the North Carolina Coastal Resources Commission.

All interested parties are invited to provide comments on the proposed Beach Management Plan. Public comments will be accepted during the public hearing. In addition to oral comments provided at the hearing, the Carteret County Beach Commission will also accept written comments on the plan up to the date of the meeting.
